Recreating Stanford Prison Experiment
The Stanford Prison Experiment was a 1971 social psychology study that involved the participants simulating a prison environment. It took place at Stanford University under the supervision of Philip G. Zimbardo and intended to estimate the influence of labeling, role-playing and social expectations over a sustained period of two weeks. But it was abandoned in just six days due to ethical considerations and the trauma experienced by the participants.

Twenty-four healthy men were divided equally into guards and prisoners and asked to stay in character. The subjects were paid $15 per day, and the guards were strictly barred from using physical abuse. The prisoners were made to experience hardships and indignities to give them a real taste of prison-life and were videotaped throughout the experiment.
As the experiment progressed, many of the guards became tyrants, while the prisoners began to get depressed and disoriented. The experiment started attracting criticism from outside and was consequently discontinued before it reached fruition.
In this study, I hope to recreate the experiment at the Island of Salvania, but with stricter controls to prevent malpractices and traumatization of the participants. Another objective would be to track the evolving mindsets of the population over the decades with respect to social and environmental conditioning. The study calls for volunteers as a group of 3-4 to monitor and undertake the scientific analysis of the observations. (Applications from participants for volunteering as prisoners/guards are no longer accepted).

Selected teams through the questionnaire will be called for further rounds at the Island during 20-22 March and the team with the highest points will be taken for assisting in the research.
Through answering the following questionnaire, apply to work as a research team for Dr. McKenzie's project.

Note:
New- The deadline for the questionnaire is extended to 20th March and the field rounds are postponed.
Also, I will be providing at max 3 hints for those who seek, but beware as points will be
deducted based on clues that a team asks for.
